CD+G - (CD + Graphics)

CD+G is the common karaoke format used by professional Karaoke Jocks, also if you have a consumer karaoke player bought from the high street the chances are that it plays the CD+G format however, it may be wise to check on your machine before ordering. CD+G plays the backing track whilst simultaneously displaying the lyrics on the screen, the backing track on the disc can also be played on a conventional CD player but of course there will be no displayed lyrics.

MP3+G - (MP3 + Graphics)

MP3+G is a compressed file format favoured by professional Karaoke Jocks, if you download our MP3+G karaoke files they will come to you zipped, each zip contains two files and both are required in order for the track to be played. The .mp3 contains the audio whilst the .cdg contains the on-screen graphics, when you receive the downloaded zip file extract it to a folder on your hard drive making sure that both the .mp3 and .cdg files reside together in the same folder. There are numerous MP3+G players available for your PC on the web, ranging from simple free players to more sophisticated software packages.
